His surgical wound has recovered well, after his previous owners left him unwell for days whilst they were away on holidays, refusing to let the pet sitter take him to the vet – only surrendering him once he was on deaths door. And, horrifyingly, this was after being adamant that they wanted to euthanase him as he was (in nicer terms) annoying, and ‘a rat’ – thankfully his vet team managed to have him surrendered for care. However, by the time this happened Casper was so unwell he was seizing, and had to be rushed to emergency surgery to remove a blockage from his intestine.
